A collection of Ada native Destiny Rosato’s artwork will be exhibited for at the Grandview on Main Street throughout April.
The collection, titled “Reverie,” is open to the public for viewing or purchase.
The collection reflects Rosato’s personal philosophy, “Life is a piece of work.”
“When in reverie, we are reminded of how we all have more in common than we do differences,” Rosato said. “This collection allows viewers to reflect on their own journey, and I hope to inspire those who are still a work in progress.”
Each piece explores different mediums, concepts and styles but remains consistent with Rosato’s overall message.
“We can get lost along the way, forgetting that every day is a choice and every choice does not determine the rest of our days,” she said. “Who we are has nothing to do with our profession, education or class. In due time, there are only moments meant to define our character, morals and test our faith". It is here when we can start again.”
Rosato is an Ada Arts Council board member and a member of the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition, the Ada Artists Association and the Holdenville Society of Painters and Sculptors. She holds a master of science degree in human resource administration from East Central University and a bachelor of science degree in visual merchandising and marketing from Metropolitan State University of Colorado.
